Dear Rochester Area Interpreting Community, As you may recall, we recently elected a Vice President for the upcoming term 7/1/2021 - 6/30/2023. However, despite her willingness to serve the community, Nikki Cherry is unexpectedly unable to serve. GVR is disappointed that we will not get the opportunity to have  her as our VP, but we wish Nikki much success in her future endeavors. We must now announce a special election for the position of Vice President. We are currently seeking candidates and will have the election in mid-June (June 13 - June 19, 2021.) Whoever is elected will then serve as Vice President from July 1st, 2021 - June 30th, 2023. Please send your nominations to [email protected] by June 1st.
